Aaron Gottesman
Assistant Coach

Aaron comes to JMHS after spending 3 years as both a Physical Education teacher and head Varsity wrestling coach at Lakewood HS. During his tenure he coached multiple district, region, and state place winners. Prior to his time at LHS he earned his BA & M.Ed. at Springfield College, located in Springfield, Mass. While wrestling at Springfield College he was twice elected as team captain and earned a bid to the Div III National Championships after winning the New England Wrestling Conference Championship at 184 lbs. He is one of 7 wrestlers in Springfields school history to be a 3x Academic All-American. After completing his wrestling career he served as assistant coach to Daryle Arroyo at Springfield. Coach Gottesman is looking forward to working with the Jags wrestling team and helping to continue the rich tradition that already exists.
